2011 Season

Well we are almost at a new season....last year was eventful with an EBP racer in every final.
Dan took home the #1 spot in Real Street followed by John holding #2.

The swap meet is over. It's time for tune ups and final adjustments. We are just a few months away from the 2011 Racing Season.

The schedule is up. Our first official race is in May at Pacific. Hopefully everyone can make it out to watch some racing!

Can they keep up what they started last year? Can they bring home just as many trophies? And who will take the #1 Spot this year? Can Dan hang onto it, or will Johnny take it away? Or will another racer take it from both of them?

August 7 & 8

The weekend was a Rain Out at Bremerton...Race is re-scheduled for Saturday the 21st.

July 17/18 - Bremerton

Eldridge Brothers Performance was represented with 1 racer this weekend (How's Norway Dan?)
On Saturday John ran his FASTEST time ever in the Chevelle at a 11.68 at 114mph.
Leaving the track Saturday being #1 qualifier....but while he was home relaxing Old Man Losey snuck into the #1 spot.
Sunday brought a #3 qualifiying position having to race his way to the final....Taking out Connely's Brother 1st round...Cutting an .011 light and running a 12.04 to take the win over The Old Man.....Meeting Connely in the Final...Beat him with an 11.97 to his 11.88 for the STRIPE. 

EBP stays in the Finals for one more race.....But there's alot more left of the season!!
Saturday Wally won $300.00 in Cash Bash! Way to go Wally!!

June 26th Race

John and Dan head out to Bremerton Raceways for a 1 day race.....Both ran the Non-Electronic Shoot-Out and NPSA. Dan was #1 Qualifier in NPSA - The boys were on opposite sides of the ladder...Making it the first time this season they could meet in the Final....and they Did.   The boys decide to split the pot and run for trophys. Dan cuts a .001 light - John runs him down and breaks out. Dan takes the stripe and John comes in #2.
~ Johnny ran his fastest time in His Chevelle running an 11.75 ~
John made 3 passes in Dan's car - taking it to it's fastest run which was an 11.53 - Which also knocks Barney off the mark for "Fastest Eldridge" which is now taken by Johnny. (Bring it on Barney)
Dan has held #1 in points all season for NPSA Real Street....Too bad he's heading for Norway..that leaves Johnny to make some points in July....LoL
Racing Stat - So far for the 2010 Season in NPSA Real Street it's been either Johnny or Dan taking home the trophy at every race. Can they keep it up??? We will see.

Race Weekend

Another Great weekend of racing....John Dickenson Jr won a Wally on Friday night in Jr Dragsters...that was exciting....John made it to the quarter finals of the National Dragster Challenge in the hunt for a Wally...he made it to the last 6 cars (they did pay out so he brought home a little check...nice) Between a couple Red Lights and Snoozing on the line it made for an exciting weekend...NPSA qualifying John was #1 going into Sunday and both racers ran 2 Pro races which makes for a long day....But overall the weather was fabulous on Saturday and the NPSA Bar-B-Q was a hit.  Today was rained out but they will make it up in September at Pacific. Here are a few pics from the weekend.  Once again a weekend of great fun, friends, food and racing!

The Goose and I headed out to Pacific tonight to watch some qualifying for the 1st UDRA race.

Sunday for NPSA  - Dan makes it to the Semi-Finals, and John has a bye into the Final....He takes out "The Old Man" to bring home the trophy!

Sunday for PRO - Dan goes 1 round
John goes 4 and ends his day with a double break-out...But runs his fastest time ever with an 11.77!

In the Money

John and Dan have ran cash bash all day long, avoiding the sprinkles in Bremerton and taking down one racer at a time...John had a bye into the final 3....Makes it into the final and cuts an .010 light. The motorcycle takes him out....But with a 40/60 split it makes it all worth it.
Going into Sunday - NPSA Dan is #1 qualifier and John is #2.....Dan is points leader in their class after 1 race at Pacific.
Now it's time to fire up the grill and celebrate with some steaks. Until tomorrow race fans!!

New Blood

Jason's first time down the 1/4 mile strip....He runs an 11.82. All smiles....With Her cunning ways the dragstrip claims yet another victim....He's hooked.
